The Vision

Grand Union is a former industrial estate. It is being transformed into a vibrant canal side neighbourhood, opening up previously closed off sections of the Grand Union Canal and River Brent for the benefit of the whole community. 

Informed by public consultation, a concept developed around the creation of a series of distinct landscaped spaces flowing through the site. A new Canalside Piazza will offer a vibrant space animated with shops, cafés, restaurants and new community facilities. 

Along the northern edge of the site, a new pedestrian/cyclist route, enhanced landscaping and new lighting will transform Beresford Avenue and the route to Stonebridge Park, providing a clean, safe environment for walking and cycling.

Phase 4c is the next piece of the jigsaw and sees the delivery of new homes, affordable workspace and public amenity. Find out more about Phase 4c on the Consultation Tab.
