Say Hello to Grand Union
In September 2018, St George secured planning permission from the London Borough of Brent to redevelop the former Northfields Industrial Estate. The new development, named Grand Union, will deliver over 3,350 new homes, set within 11 acres of public open space including landscaped gardens and riverside walks. New local amenities including shops, cafes, restaurants and a community centre will provide spaces in which to congregate and socialise, bringing new life to the banks of the Grand Union Canal and River Brent. A state-of-the-art multi-storey industrial hub and high quality workspace will create c. 650 local jobs, making Grand Union a unique place to live, work and connect.
This website has been created to keep you up to date on what is happening at Grand Union as the development takes shape, including the latest project news, public consultation events, community events and more. The project team is always interested to hear from local residents, so if you have any queries or feedback please do not hesitate to get in touch.
